School's Out!! Scream & shout!!! It's time for celebration!!

It's officially summer break. Actually started on Friday May 30. All weekend long, the kids kept asking "what are we gonna do on Monday?" Here we go. So, we've laid out a few Summer House Rules. But I'm sure it's gonna be a long summer, for all of us. This will be a first for all of us. First for the kids in that they have always known summers on a year-round school schedule, so they didn't have all the summer weeks together. The longest summer break they've known, maybe 6-9 weeks. But more relevant, a first for all of us to be together, meaning mom home with kids. Their summers weren't much different since they were at a sitter's all summer and I was working all summer. So this will be a new thing for me too. Wish us luck.
Any suggestions to help us get through the summer, and still be friends at the end, are WELCOME!!!

Get those kids to the local swimming pool. I worked at one in California a few summers. It was a dream for the parents- the cheapest baby sitting ever. You can relax and get a tan too. Do they even have a pool in Pocatello?
