2 Teeth Pulled

Well, Maxine recently went to the orthodontist to see what needed to be done, and when. He explained to her that she has size 10 teeth in a size 7 mouth and there was no room for some of her permanent teeth to come in. SO he wanted 3 baby teeth pulled out so there was more room for permanent teeth to come in and hopefully they'd come in straighter. She was able to get one of them out on her own before she went to the dentist.

So yesterday she went to the dentist to have the other 2 teeth pulled. She was very anxious and not so excited about it all but she made it through just fine. A couple hours later she was running around fine. As a friend who watched her for me said, if you hadn't seen the evidence you'd hardly believe she just had them pulled. Sad to say the tooth fairy forgot to come that night, fortunately Bryan saved the day and said he'd locked the deadbolt so maybe she couldn't get in the house. There was an envelope taped to the outside of the door just in time. . . . And you know teeth that are pulled by the dentist are more expensive than other teeth that just fall out, in several regards! Tooth fairy was a bit more generous than usual with them!

Just some cute pics!

Riley is a D'back!

Riley played baseball for the FIRST time ever!! He did great!! He looks pretty dang good too! I was impressed by how good he did and how he stuck with it. The boys pitched to each other so he got hit by SEVERAL pitches, but he was tough and hung in there. He got plenty of hits, though not much action in the outfield. I was SO PROUD of him!!

Thanks to our neighbor Bob's personal coaching, Riley has a great swing and stance. Bob spent a lot of time with Riley (he's been a coach for many years and has 2 boys who play and are very good!).

You gotta be kidding me?? These two boys are in the same age group to play each other??? Someone check that kids birth certificate!! He's twice the size of Riley!!

One of many hits Riley took! He never cried and was pretty tough!
Great job Riley!! It was so much fun watching him (except on the cold days!) Can't wait for him to do it again next year!!

Hike to Timp Cave

Here's the gang ready to head up the mountain to Timp Cave. We're still smiling so far. . . .

Here's the gang inside the cave, took this picture and it was really dark, turned out pretty good.

Maxine plays Tball too

Maxine played Tball this summer for the first time. She did GREAT!! She played for the Blue Snakes team and had fun and maybe discovered a hidden talent.

This is Maxine's coach, Tarryn. She really liked having a girl coach!

Ready to run!

Ready to bat!! This is where Maxine totally surprised us. She is really good at batting. She is very consistent and hits the ball great!! She doesn't have a lot of power, but has a great swing. All the lessons she watched our neighbor Bob giving Riley must've rubbed off on her!

Take me out to the ball game!

Easton played T-ball this summer for the first time ever, and he actually did pretty good. I think he enjoyed it too. His team was the Bengal Tigers; he loved his shirt with a tiger on it.
Here's some pics from the season.

This is Easton's coach, Coach Rychael. He LOVED his coach!!

Easton figured out his name was written on some of the bats and had to use "his" bat.

Easton was often oblivious to the fact there was a game going on, too busy socializing and making new friends.

Every helmet they used was too big on his head, he had to hold on to them as he ran.

Easton usually had to be reminded to RUN the bases!! Was usually too busy chatting it up with the baseman.

Rolling Stones!!

What else has happened since our posts back in 2008?? Bryan has had 3 kidney stones!!! 3!!!! One in November, the biggest one EVER and it came out in one piece in February. And one surprise stone rolled on out without warning the other night! I'll spare you all pictures. So sorry babe!!

Visits to the Farm!!

In Oxford that is! We spent 4 long weekends in Oxford, Idaho at my great grandparents farm. It is truly one of my favorite places on earth!!! Two weekends were spent in the rain and cold the other two were much nicer; but we had a wonderful time each time!! We had good friends, family and food. Here's some highlights (pictures in no particular order):

Bryan, looking all. . . . I don't know what!

What a good sport grandpa Fisher is!!

Kids having a good time on the beach at Twin Lakes.

How cute is Easton? Loves the rope swing!!

Riley found a new toy he loves!

Maxine found this tractor seat up at the grove at the old homestead on Oxford Mountain.

Uncle Rod took the crew up on Oxford Mountain to give us a tour and history lesson. It was great. Thank you, Rod!

Here's a motley looking crew, ready to tour Oxford Mountain.

Making "woofem's" around the campfire.

Even caught myself a few bicycle rides at Oxford, see here's actual proof!!

Have you ever seen a more beautiful place?
