so, i've been learning to knit. one of bryan's colleague's taught me how (thank you Kelly!!). i started with lots of scarves and dishcloths. i'm working on a poncho for maxine. and i just finished a "felted" bag that i'm using for my scriptures. below are some pictures. the fun thing about felting, is you knit your project with 100% wool yarn. then wash it in hot water and it shrinks up so tight that you can't hardly see the stitches anymore. it's kinda cool and something fun to try. so here's a look at my bag, before and after 'felting'. i took the before dimensions to i could see how much it shrunk. ya, can't find them! but i know it shrunk quite a bit. the straps are a little longer than i think i want them, they stretched quite a bit with the weight of the books.

Quite impressive! How did you end up attaching the handles? What's the next project going to be?
